A group of patients, their families and La Rabida care givers are going down to the Chicago Children's Museum on Navy Pier this Saturday. The museum is going to close for the day and will be temporarily converted into a makeshift sporting exposition for kids with disabilities.
The name of the event is the Adaptive Sports Expo: Play for All, and is being held 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday. Physical therapist Dr. Chandi Edmunds called into the Riot this morning to talk about the event. Listen below:
