Pop singer Katy Perry has cleared the air on her stance toward Chief Keef after the teenage rapper hopped onto Twitter to throw insults and threaten her Thursday
Quick to apologize, Perry let Keef know she did not mean any disrespect by publicly singling out his "Hate Being Sober" track.
"Mr. Keef! I'm sorry if I offended you. I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular. Actually...," she tweeted May 23rd.
"I'm a fan of your "Don't Like" video tbh. I was really just having a general opinion on our generations desire to be constantly intoxicated."
"Believe me, I'm a lover not a hater. x" (Katy Perry's Twitter)
Rather than hit Perry up personally, Chief went off on the singer and even threatened to assault her hours prior.
"Dat ***** Katy Perry Can Suck Skin Off Of my ****," Keef tweeted May 23rd.
"Ill Smack The ****out her ?"
"New Song Katy Perry Coming Soon" (Chief Keef's Twitter)
The tweets reportedly came from Katy questioning Keef's "Hate Being Sober" track.
"Just heard a new song on the radio called "I hate being sober" I now have serious doubt for the world.," she tweeted May 21st. (Katy Perry's Twitter)
