Over the weekend, Beyonce performed her new song, ‘Standing On the Sun‘, for the first time, at the Sportpaleis in Antwerps, Belgium. The full studio version has yet to be released, but snippets of the song, are featured on Beyonce’s H&M swimwear promotional campaign. Rumor has it that the track will be featured on her upcoming album. Turns out the mother of the Chinese newborn who was rescued from toilet pipes earlier this week was present during the entire ordeal.

According to Chron, the woman was at the scene of the two-hour rescue, but didn't fess up until police confronted her and asked her to undergo a medical checkup.

The woman told police she could not afford an abortion and secretly delivered the child Saturday afternoon in the toilet. She said she tried to catch the baby but he slipped into the sewer line and that she alerted her landlord of the trapped baby after she could not pull the child out, the state-run, Jinhua-based Zhezhong News said.

The state-run, Hangzhou-based newspaper Dushikuaibao said police became suspicious when they found baby toys and blood-stained toilet paper in the 22-year-old woman's rented room in the building where the rescue occurred.

Apparently, the woman is a high school graduate who works at a restaurant in the Zheijiand province city of Jinhua. According to Zhezhong News:

She said she became pregnant after a one-night stand with a man who later denied any responsibility. The woman did not reveal the pregnancy to her parents. She also said she wanted to raise the child but had no idea how to do it, according to local reports.

Baby No. 59, named after the incubator he is recovering in, had a low heart rate and some minor abrasions on his head and limbs, but was mostly unhurt, according to local reports. The placenta was still attached.

We've heard the stories of women flushing their newborn babies down toilets because they don't want them, but never have we seen anything like this.

Firefighters in eastern China rescued a baby boy lodged in a sewage pipe after his parents decided to abandon him...and flush him down the toilet.

The baby got stuck right below the toilet commode and residents in the building started hearing his cries coming from the pipes. Eventually, they called the police.

Firefighters had to remove the pipe and take it to a nearby hospital, where doctors carefully cut around it to rescue the baby boy inside, the report said.

The child is in a stable condition and the police are looking for his parents, state television added.

In China, there are frequent reports in media of babies being abandoned; a problem attributed variously to young mothers unaware they were pregnant, the birth of an unwanted girl in a society which puts greater value on boys, or China's strict family planning rules.

Academy and Grammy Award winner Jennifer Hudson is allegedly in final talks to join the judge panel for season 13 of American Idol, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken and Adam Lambert were in the running to fill the three -judge panel. A rep for Clarkson told The Hollywood Reporter, "Kelly will not be a judge on Idol," and a rep for Lambert says he hasn't even been contacted by Fox or the show's producers.

• Fox television reality show head Mike Darnell wouldn't confirm the reports. He did explain how difficult the job would be for anyone. Darnell said, "If you've never done it before, we don't know what we're getting . . . You might be great, you might be terrible. It's a skill . . . .Everybody thinks they can do it but not everybody can."

There have  been a number of reports that rapper Andre 3000′s mother, Sharon Benjamin Hodo, was reportedly found dead in her Atlanta home, Tuesday morning. The hip-hop site DDOT reports:

It’s been confirmed to me by multiple sources, who were neighbors of the Outkast rappers family, that police and ambulances were up and down their street at the home where Sharon Benjamin Hodo, mother of Andre 3000 was a resident. Details are sketchy right now but my source say she was early 60′s. My sources have indicated that Ms. Benjamin Hodo resided in Rex, Georgia. Cause of death still remains unknown at this time but she’s believed to have been found early this morning. The area of residence is confirmed to be off Stage Coach road in Rex, Georgia.

A photo has been circulating across the web this weekend that appears to be the tracklisting for Kanye West' upcoming album.

According to the flick that shows the tracklisting via what looks like a UK iTunes account, "Yeezus" expected on June 18th, has 13 songs and features, Frank Ocean, Travi$ Scott, Chief Keef, RZA, Tyler The Creator, Ma$e and more.

Some reports claim the leak is a mistake on Apple's part, but nevertheless with Yeezy's innovative gorilla marketing, the suspense is building and #YeezySeason is among us.
