Who is Demi Lobo??- Demi Lobo is an American Singer/Songwriter and Radio Personality born in California raised in Chicago. Demi Lobo is currently a Senior Radio Major attending Columbia College in Downtown Chicago. You can hear Demi Lobo on The #1 Station for Hip-Hop & RnB- WGCI, in Chicago every weekend. Demi Lobo the young creative girl has served in the arts for many years. Starting as a singer in church, she then began writing poetry, which led to recording music at the age of 16. With a love for acting, Demi has always been a personality. 6 stage plays, and 2 commercials under her belt, at the age of 8 Demi Lobo won "Best Actress" in a Miss America Pageant.
Demi has always been a positive influence to the youth and her peers. In high school and college she spoke to her peers on the importance of having a plan in life, getting and keeping a job, planning for the future. Demi has spoke to thousands of youth all over Illinois and in the Chicago Public Schools.
Taking a break from music and concentrating on being the captain of the basketball team in high shcool was the focus. Once she hit College at Eastern Illinois University in Charlseton, IL - that all changed. She was added as a co-host on the school's 5am Morning Radio Show 'Wake Up Live' on WEIU. As well her own show every Friday on the station. As a Sophomore at Eastern Illinois University, Demi decided to transfer to her home city Chicago, also the third largest radio market - and take radio and music more seriously.
Never missing a beat, Demi hopped right on Columbia College's award winning school radio station- WCRX with a show every week. One semester later Demi went after her year long dream of becoming an Intern at WGCI. Long hours and taking the job with pride a year later Demi can be heard every weekend on WGCI.

MC Lyte spilled the beans on the red carpet for the VIBE Impact Awards, she revealed Lil Mama will be portraying the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in an upcoming biopic on VH1.
"I'm going to put a little bit [of] my concentration and focus on helping to uplift a sister who is talented, smart, witty and just had her chances cut too short and that's Lil Mama," Lyte told HipHollywood.com. "She is a talented young lady so I want to see her do some beautiful things and I don't know if I'm supposed to say, but I will, she just got the role of Left Eye in TLC's new movie so I am so excited for her."
Lyte went on to reveal that she will be getting to the studio with Lil Mama to record a "Hip-Hop Sisters" record, which includes plans for songs with Monie Love, the Lady of Rage and Yo Yo.
In November 2012, TLC's remaining members Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas revealed that the group was working on a new album and auditioning actors to portray them in the forthcoming biopic.
