Dr. Dre is still D.R.E. and he's still eating off of that Beats By Dre and HTC deal. According to Forbes that deal was enough to catipult him into the top spot of highest paid musicians in 2012. According to Forbes, "He collected $100 million pretax when handset maker HTC paid $300 million for a 51% stake in the company last year, at the beginning of our scoring period; he and his partners later bought back half of what they sold."

The Hip-Hop mogul landed about $110 Million this year to line up in front of some star studded acts including, Roger Waters of Pink Floyd ($88 Million), Elton John ($80 Million), U2 ($78 Million), Justin Bieber ($55 Million), Beyonce ($40 Million) and Jay-Z ($38 Million), to name a few.
