She's spicy, yet sweet; warm and sincere, but fiesty. If it's flavor you're missing....just add Consuella. There's no wonder why this born and raised Louisiana cutie is loved by so many. Consuella is the only girl of four children and is affectionately known as Connie to her family and friends.
She began her illustrious entertainment career in New Orleans, Louisiana, as co host of the local favorite video show Phat Phat 'n All That. Two short years later, she joined the radio team at Q93 (WQUE FM New Orleans). There she started as an overnight jock, worked in promotions, and later became a part of the CJ & Co Morning Show until Hurricane Katrina. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to Charlotte, NC to work for CBS Radio at WPEG FM 98, where she ruled the night as the host of Grind Time. At the end of her contract with CBS Charlotte, she was asked to join the WGCI Family in the # 3 market of Chicago, IL. She currently holds down the evening time slot where she is known as Connie, Your Girlfriend from 6-10.
Consuella's passion for acting, singing, and modeling has kept her very busy outside of her radio career. She has sang and shared the stage with the likes of Bishop Paul S. Morton, Common, Ludacris, Erykah Badu, The Roots, Robin Thicke, Diggy Simmons, Mindless Behavior, Young Jeezy and even Lionel Richie. She has also appeared in several commercials, print ads, plays, music videos, and television shows including New Orleans' favorite sketch comedy show, N' Touch, The Chocolate Box in Charlotte, and Chicago's classic scholastic game show, Know Your Heritage.
In her spare time, Connie is very active in the Chicago community by devoting her love and efforts to the girls mentoring programs Polished Pebbles and Sister's Peak. She has a generous heart, a love for people and it shows in her everyday walk. She's a fun, lovable, passionate woman, but has a quiet strength that resonates with those who make her acquaintance. Connie is a quadruple threat...she can act, sing, write and she can Cook! In her words, "Like true musicianship, cooking is One of many lost arts that bind us all." To know Consuella, is to Love Connie. Keep watching, listening and reading her best is yet to come.
