The voice of Sesame Street's most beloved character Elmo , Kevin Clash, has been accused of statutory rape. Clash has let it known that he was in a relationship with a young man but the young man has reported that the relationship started when he was 16 years old. Kevin Clash has taken some time off from the show until the situation is straightened out and the truth put forward. Clash's accuser hired a lawyer from Andreozzi and Associates who represented victims in the Jerry Sandusky child rape case and has informed The Sesame Workshop of his allegations.
