OutKast will reportedly reunite at Coachella next year.
The Atlanta hip-hop duo is in talks to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, multiple sources tell Billboard.
The festival will take place over two weekends on April 11-13 and April 18-20 in Indio, Calif. Following Coachella, they will reportedly play additional festival dates in 2014 as part of their comeback tour.
According to a Billboard source, there have definitely been “some conversations” about OutKast reuniting, while another says it is “all systems go” for André and Big Boi’s reunion.
It’s been seven years since the group’s last joint project, the soundtrack to their film Idlewild.
André 3000 shut down rumors of an OutKast reunion in a 2012 interview with GQ. “There’s been a lot of talk on the Internet about an OutKast album and I have to say that as of now, there are no plans for another OutKast album,” he told the magazine.
In the interim, André filmed the Jimi Hendrix biopic All Is By My Side and has made guest appearances on songs for Frank Ocean, Drake, T.I., and Ke$ha.
Big Boi has released two solo albums including 2010′s Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty and last year’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.
R. Kelly gets “foul and flagrant” on his explicit bedroom banger “Lights On.” Once he gets his girl naked, the sex genius leaves the lights on while he gets down to business in the sheets.
“Baby leave them lights on and I’ma fuck your fuckin’ brains out,” he sings.
If you pre-order Black Panties, you will receive the exclusive bonus track, which does not appear on the album.
The tracklisting includes appearances from Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, 2 Chainz, Jeezy, Future, Migos, and Juicy J.
Listen to Kellz get his freak on on the baby-making jam.
Let the baby making begin. R. Kelly sets the seductive mood with the provocative covers for his album Black Panties. The standard edition shows the masked singer playing a violin on a topless woman’s body. He ups the ante on the deluxe, lying in a pile of ladies, who are wearing nothing but black panties.
The follow-up to 2012′s Write Me Back has already spawned the singles “My Story” featuring 2 Chainz, “Genius,” and “Cookie.”
“I’m on a Benjamin Button-type of mission right now,” Kellz told Fuse. “I’m going back to the old school R. Kelly days where he did the 12 Play, the sexual songs mixed with the hip-hop songs.”
The Black Panties come off on Dec. 10. See the deluxe artwork below.
Pitbull is getting in the fragrance game. The Miami rapper is set to launch his own scent next year.
The men’s and women’s fragrances, simply titled Pitbull, will arrive in time for Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14.
They will be officially unveiled during Pitbull’s New Year’s Eve concert at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. Amazon.com will be the exclusive retailer until Feb. 14, with a pre-sale beginning Dec. 1.
The women’s scent combines notes of juicy raspberries, crisp red apples, nectarine blossom, and creamy woods, while the men’s version contains sun-drenched bergamot, mandarin, woods, rich tonka bean, and amber.
They will range in price from $30-$55 depending on bottle size.
“When we started talking about it, it was about very sexy smells,” Pitbull told WWD. “The woman can wear the men’s cologne and the man can wear the women’s perfume. I love to mix them up and see what kind of people you attract off of them.”
Limited edition versions are already in the pipeline including Pitbull Miami, set for a 2015 launch, and Pitbull Rio, targeted for 2016.
In addition to his fragrance, Pitbull will host the American Music Awards for the first time on Nov. 24. Global Warming: Meltdown, a deluxe edition of his 2012 album, arrives Nov. 25 featuring Ke$ha and Kelly Rowland.
Rihanna capped off her “Diamonds World Tour” with some twerking. During her final show at New Orleans Arena on Friday night, the “What Now” singer and her BFF Melissa Forde twerked backstage to T-Pain’s single “Up Down (Do This All Day).”
To prep, Melissa lit up a joint before passing it to RiRi. Wearing a bra and black sweats, she shook her booty up and down the pole.
After eight months of touring, RiRi closed out the worldwide trek in grand fashion. With a bottle of champagne in hand, she celebrated backstage with her mother, brother, and grandfather.
“The end. #DWT,” she wrote.
