R&B enthusiasts can quench their thirst for soulful slow jams at this year's Liberation Tour.

Kicking off in Hampton, Virginia, Thursday (June 6), Mary J. Blige and D’Angelo are banding together once again to belt out hits new and old. Joining MJB this year is Roc Nation’s own songbird Bridget Kelly.

The "Street Dreamin'" singer is no stranger to touring with the biggest names in the industry, having rocked stages with Jay Z (Blueprint 3 Tour) and Estelle (BET Music Matters Tour). She will also be serenading the crowd at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans in July.

He’s known for his tough street persona, but it seems 2 Chainz is just like everybody else when he sees a gun- he runs!

The prominent rapper was targeted yesterday afternoon (June 9) when his wallet was stolen while out in San Francisco.

According to a report, the thieves pulled guns and fired shots during the incident, said to have occurred around 4:30pm.

And the surveillance video of the whole ordeal shows that 2 Chainz and his 14-person entourage all scattered “like cockroaches” as soon as shots rang out.

There was no shortage of star power at Kanye West’s 36th birthday bash in New York on Saturday night. Mr. West’s famous friends gathered to toast him at the private celebration at Jamaican restaurant Miss Lily’s.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z held court in one corner, while illusionist David Blaine posed for a photo with Scott Disick. Fresh off the stage at the Governors Ball, Nas also joined the party.

“Yeezus x Hov x Godson …. The 3 Gods. Happy Birthday to my brotha Kanye!” tweeted Nas.

Kanye’s baby mama Kim Kardashian also sent him a heartfelt message on Twitter. “Happy Birthday to my best friend, the ❤of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!” tweeted Kim.

Kanye’s sixth album Yeezus arrives on June 18. He is set to perform tonight at the Governors Ball in New York.

It’s a boy! Tamar Braxton and her husband, music executive Vincent Herbert, welcomed a son on Thursday.

The 36-year-old singer announced the news on Twitter at the end of the season finale of “Braxton Family Values,” posting a photo of the hospital room with flowers and a giant blue teddy bear.

“#tamartian friends HE’S finally here! #bfv #tamarandvince #theone :-),” the new mom told her fans.

Her older sister Toni was thrilled to have another nephew. “congratulations to my beautiful baby sister!!! I have a new nephew!!!!!! Hehe!!! I’m soooooooo excited!!!!! @TamarBraxtonHer !!!!!!!” said Toni.

Her mother was overjoyed with the birth of her newest grandchild. “Congratulations to my @TamarBraxtonHer I am so blessed to have another grandbaby Look at GOD!” said Evelyn Braxton.

Her other sister Towanda also shared in the celebration. “The #bfv finale AND @TamarBraxtonHer is a Mommie all in one night!! #epic!!” she wrote.

There were rumors that Tamar was having a boy. While she never confirmed it, her friend Tiny and sister Toni hinted at the baby’s gender in interviews.

This is the first child for the couple. Tamar announced her pregnancy on “Good Morning America” in March.
