According to the Office of Emergency Management and Communication starting Decemeber 3 and until January 3, the city will be testing Speed Limit Cameras in four locations. Now if you are caught speeding in any of these locations during the test period, the Office of Emergecny Management and Communication says you will not receive a ticket. But by this Spring, there will possibly be up to 300 Speeding Cameras across the city. REMEMBER that shield of protection is only until January 3rd.

So here are the locations:

On the North Side:

  • Warren Park- 6500 North Western Avenue
  • North Montessori School - 1400 West Divison Street

On the South Side:

  • McKinley Park- 2200 West Pershing Road
  • Dulles Elementary School- 6300 South King Drive

And if you are caught speeding here is how much you may have to pay:

  • 6-10 MPH over the speed limit will cost you $35
  • 11 MPH and over will cost you $100
