Here's some good news for us Chicagaons traveling by car. Chicago Parking Meters LLC announced today that metered parking will be extended from 9pm to midnight in the River North area, around the borders of the Chicago River south and west and to the north of Division street. In addition, the new changes will extend metered parking in the city Monday through Saturdays for an extra hour! Meters that have ended at 9pm will now end at 10pm. Motorists you're in luck too! Chicago motorists no longer need to feed parking meters on Sundays outside the downtown area bounded by Roosevelt Avenue to the South, North Avenue to the North and Halsted Street to the West.
