According to Complex, Lil TJay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, was arrested in Miami-Opa Locka airport on his birthday, April 30th. Reports by the Miami Dade Police Department confirmed Lil TJay was taken into custody due to a missed court date that's been reported since September 8th, 2021. He has since been released on a $500 bond.
In his response to his recent arrest, Lil TJay posted on Instagram a series of photos celebrating his birthday with the caption, "I AINT HEAR NUN THE BLOGS SAID CAUSE WHERE IM AT IT AINT NO SERVICE... 500 ON MY BDAY SH** BOUT NUN I DESERVE IT."
