Chicago's WaterSaver Faucet company is in hot water after its employee union filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board claiming the company unfairly disciplined 19 workers last month for "excessive use" of the restroom.
The company's human resources department described the alleged "excessive use" as "60 minutes or more over the last 10 working days." Sixty minutes broken down between ten days is, yep, six minutes per day.
The company has even gone so far as to install swipe card systems on bathroom entrances to track who goes in and out and for how long.
